Account is permanently closed for breach of agreement and terms of sale

I purchased "Battlefield 5" on the Steam platform. I received an email yesterday. My EA account was permanently closed due to violation of the agreement and terms of sale.Is this a joke? If you can't buy on steam, why should it appear on steam?

Same thing happened to me but with the sims 4 and i have no idea why my account got deleted i literally did nothing
