It seems that the Origin client does not scale with high resolution high DPI panels very well, this needs to be addressed.

On the NVIDIA control panel, go to Display, Adjust desktop size and position, on the scaling tab choose Aspect ratio and Perform scaling on: GPU

 

It is possible that GPU scaling will help here. Thanks.

I have the scaling set to 100% as many games cannot work properly with it set to the default 150%

I would rather have EA simply fix the game loader to it can adapt to larger screen sizes and DPI.

 

Many games support 3840x2160 fine natively. A couple of games needed to have the ini file edited but that is par for the course with many titles as for many years LCD panels came in a very wide range of resolutions.

 

Modern games generally can support 3840x2160 out of the box and BF3 and up all do that fine.
