Unable to cancel orgin

Everytime I try and cancel my membership i get " Whoops 

An error occurred. Please try again later. [ref. #[object Object]]"

 I don't understand what kind of business ethics this company has to have to not allow people to cancel their memberships online. I don't want to contact support since last time I had to do this it took forever. You guys have an option to cancel online so how about we make sure this option actually works. I guess I shouldn't expect much after seeing this god awful VIP demo weekend.

That error generally points to an issue with your system stopping Oriign from working as it should.

 

Can you clear your origin cache and then try again: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

 

I would also suggest disabling your anti-virus or firewall and trying again.

 

If that does not work then you will need to speak with one of our phone or chat support advisers who will be able to advise you further. 

 

You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

 

To request a callback or speak with a chat adviser:

Click on your product Origin

Then select 'PC

Manage my Account'

Can't log in

 

Finally, you can choose to receive a callback or begin a chat.
