I'm having an issue with the discounts that are being shown to me on the storefront. You guys are currently running a Black Friday sale and technically my 10% is suppose to be added to the existing discounts but they are not. The discounts range from 0% to 3% to 5% and even 6% but none of the already discounted games add a full 10% discount. SO if the game is 50% it will show 55% or if its 60% off it will show 63%. Why is this? This is not what was stated when I purchased Origin access. It stated that I will get the 10% discount added to anything regardless of any other factors.
Could you please have this fixed for me.
Please see the disclaimer at the bottom of the following page.
This is the page I see, it should localise to your region when you open it in your browser:
Thanks for the reply
I read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page but am unable to see what exactly you are pointing me at spicifically. So I've just gone ahead and pasted it here:

If you could perhaps just point out which part you are referring to please that would be great.
If you are referring to this line: MAY NOT BE COMBINED WITH ANY OTHER PROMOTIONAL OR DISCOUNT OFFER, UNLESS EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZED BY EA; MAY NOT BE COMBINED WITH ANY PREPAID CARD REDEEMABLE FOR THE APPLICABLE CONTENT.
This line is not applicable because the discount is being added already, just not the full amount. That's my issue. So for example as I've stated before, if a game is 50% off right? Then the Origin access discount grants me an additional 10% discount meaning 60% off, only I don't get 60% off. All my 50% off games show 55% off meaning only half of the Origin discount is being applied.
Thank you for your time.
Thanks for the clarification on what you are seeing. It looks like you are getting an additional 10% on a 50% discount that has already been applied.
I should have given a different example. Other than the fact that Origin Access does not apply the 10% discount on the discounted price it adds it accumutively. Even if the latter was true shouldn't 75% off games give 82.5% discount? Instead the one game I looked at, gave 78% discount thats 3 percent not 7.5%.
And accept for all of this we are talking about deductions to discount percentages. The percentage discounted is the percentage discounted it should never change regardless because the discount percentage is set for example Origin access provides 10% discount, done.
I think what you confused it with was whether the discounts get applied in an accumulative way or one after the other. For example a game costs $10 with accumulative discount it's 60% off so $40, with discount applied one after the other it's 50% on $10 thats $5 then 10% on $5 thats $4.50. However that's all based on the price changing not the percentage discounted.
For what it's worth I seriously think it's a bug.
