There's no reason to remove such a feature on a single platform, especially for such a game that is so suited to co op play. I know this issue has been brought up a lot, but the more that it is brought to EAs attention the more likely they are to consider adding such a basic feature to the game.
One of the main reasons I got Origin access was to play this game with my girlfriend, as its a game that is friendly to those unfamiliar with shooters, although the opportunity for us to play side by side has been removed by the developers for seemingly NO reason. PLEASE FIX THIS!
