NEED FOR SPEED RIVALS Crash

Every time... every single time I try to load online my game crashes.
I'm on Xbox one S and it's not the console. I think it's the disc itself but not sure. Everytime I attempt to load online it crashes but if i load offline it works flawlessly. What the hell?

Something I forgot to mention. When I say crash I meant when the game freezes and boots you back to the xbox home screen. It must be the disc but if cant be. I only got it at pretty much the start of the year.

It's a problem with the NFS Rivals servers for Xbox One.
It used to work flawlessly online up until a couple of months ago.
Now it just crashes back to the dashboard when you try to connect online.
Really annoying as it is such a great game.

If you reset your router then start the game at the same time you can access single player fine.
You can then go into the settings so it starts single player every time.
Only way to run the game is offline sadly on Xbox One.
