Hello everyone,
I always used to play to NFS Rivals with Windows 7.
Now that I upgraded to Windows 10 the keyboard stops working (car controls and other keys) so I am forced to close the game using CTRL+ALT+CANC.
This normally happens within 10 minutes after I srtart playing.
I replaced the wireless keyboard I was using before with an USB one but nothing happens.
I reinstalled the game and installed the new and latest graphic drivers.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you let us know if starting the game via the following specific path helps please:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Need for Speed(TM) Rivals\NFS14_x86.exe
Origin by default tries to run the non-x86 executable.

I got this problem too and my pc is win 10 pro 64-bit with Geforce GTX650. The keyboard doesn't work in both x86 and non-x86 version after entering the game for 5-10 minutes.

Hi Barry,
the exact path for the game I run is: "E:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Need for Speed(TM) Rivals\NFS14.exe".
I've seen that there is another executable file: "E:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Need for Speed(TM) Rivals\NFS14_x86.exe"
Which is the right one?
Thank you.

Hi Barry,
just tried the second one but still facing that problem.
Game is installed onto the second hd.
As far as I remember, first drive was dedicated to OS and docs.

Before suggesting changing the install location of your EA games, can you try changing your in-game resolution and testing the issue. If the keyboard works for an extended period, change the resolution back to your desired setting and test again. Do let us know your results here, thanks.

I did not change any setting and I just install the game in C drive. If this problem cannot be solved, I will not buy this game again as I have already refunded before. I want to play this game so please advise me.

Would you post your DXdiag so we can take a look? There may be something in there that will point us in the right direction.
