EA server issue. Cannot play online X360 NFS Rivals

I started Need For Speed Rivals for the Xbox 360 about a week ago and have not been able to connect to the servers to play online.

I also started the Xbox One version at the same time and have had no such issue connecting and playing online

hoping for a fix
