hilarious, this error popped up for me a few times today, 8gb of Corsair Ram, GTX 660ti, AMDFX 8350, every other game runs perfectly fine including BF4. But every 10-20 minutes on Rivals, I get the black screen, the sound glitches, the direct X error, then I lose monitor signal and need to hard reset my PC. EA support knows about the issue, but they were no help on fixing it. I'm not shocked that I came on here to see EA trying to tell us its a memory problem on our end. $50 bucks down the drain right now, please patch this.

Agreed, Ea pushes the problem on to someone else, If they took the time to test the game more than twice before they sell it than maybe they would have a better customer satisfaction rating

Exactly the same problem I have with FX8320, GTX 660TI (331.82 driver), 8GB RAM.

i have same graphic card - nvidia geforce gtx 460 version 331.65. I had no problem with any other game before. Except for rivals

appear same message:
