Severe Lag constantly....becoming unplayable xbox 0ne

I know you guys know about this already, I love this game but only get to play for about 1/2-to an hour....at least 15 minutes of that time are multiple lag issues. Car stops or goes slow and the timer keeps going. Also happens at the shop while getting my cards.
