I am having the problem when i launch the game i get around 700 fps and then i just get an direct x error

It also crashes when i get in to the settings and try to change anything.

i have repaired my game files but can't get it to work.

i also saw on another post that the gtx 10 series is having a lot of problems with this i this true

If somebody knows how to fix it i would be glad to hear about it.

 

 

 

Specs:

-----------------------------

- I5 6600k (oc = 4.5 ghz)

- gtx 1060 6gb (oc = +130 core / +800 memory)

- ddr4 ram 2400 mhz (oc = 2700 mhz)

- Driver version = 388.31

Can you let us know if you see increased stability if you run your hardware at stock clock speeds please?

Some games and apps have problems with new windows 10 update (fall creators), if you use it try to download new driver if you can.

So I removes 10 mHz from my core clock on the gpu and for some reason it started working again even tho this isn't the first time trying. and I have had this overclock run for 8-9 hours in game. And like half a year in othergames so that's a little weird.
But thanks for coming back to me that was possibly the solution for me thanks

Seems the overclocking is the issue. I also had OC'ed using EVGA Precision software. Once I set to defaults the error has not returned. Weird thing to cause an error. But at least we have a fix. Thanks EA.
