minimum age requirements on ea/origin account????? [ Edited ]

Hi

Can anyone help a novice? My son has Need for Speed most wanted and recently got XBox live. In order to play live, he is told on the console that he needs an EA/Origin account. I set this up on my PC for him. When he goes to input the EA account details into the xbox it tells him he doesn't meet the minimum age requirements for playing multiplayer live?

What is this?

How can I overcome this?

The account is in my name and I'm certainly over 18!!

as far as i know you have live.com account in your xbox so maybe your son is logged in with his account -18 year and that's why you can't join to multiplayer.
