When I play Need for Speed Most Wanted on my PC the game play will start off fine but the longer I play it starts to skip or stutter when I am in races or being chased by police. It gets so bad the game is unplayable after a while. I am running a Nvidia 9800 GTX +, 4 gigs of ram, and a 3.3 GHz 8 core processor. I've watched the temp of both the processor and the video card and it isn't over heating. I've also watched the percentage of the GPU used and the GPU memory being used and the highest they get is around 80%. I have all graphic properties set as low as they will go and I am running a resolution of 1024x768. Any ideas on what may be causing my issues. I do have the most recent evga drivers for my video card as well.
