Extremely often, while I'm playing, my xbox controller will just disconnect randomly and my frames will drop to 4 frames a second every time when that happens. I don't know what causes this but in order to fix it, I either have to take the batteries out of my controller or completely exit out of my game. It happens so often that it is infuriating. It happens like 6 or 7 times in a single race.
I have:
-Restarted my computer
-Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it
-Uninstalled it again from my hard drive and put it on my SSD
-Changed all sorts of graphics settings
Nothing seems to work. This is the only game I have issues as far as the controller is concerned.
Please advise. It makes the game pretty much unplayable.
