My NFS Most Wanted is always crashing if i try to drive the race: Emerson Beltway.
It happens only in this race and mostly if there is a collision with another car, the environment or an object on the paveway.
It happens with all cars that can drive this race.
Am i the only one with this problem, is there a solution?
My rig:
Geforce GTX 660, driver 320.18 WHQL
Intel i5-3550
8gb Ram
Resolution 1280y1024
Windows 7HP 64bit
Solved! Go to Solution.
December 2016
If anyone is still interested, i found a solution: Select Emerson Beltway in Easydrive, then choose Set destination and drive to event manually.

Try to correct the installation of the game, to lower graphics settings and check out the latest game update
2013-06-24 02:20 PM
Repairing Installation found no problems and had no results.
I also deleted the hole game and downloaded it new ( which was a torture because of origin download speed around only 2mbits, but thats not topic).
I already tried lowest graphic settings, no results, same problem.
Game is up-to-date.

Same issue here, specs pretty much identical to swordsman18's, except I got GTX 660 graphics adapter by Gigabyte.

Same here, regardless of graphics settings. I managed to run almost a full race once, and a few seconds from finish one of the opponents hit me from behind, and the game crashed. I don't know why I'm even writing this, as clearly noone is going to help me anyway, but still.

I have this same problem. I had it previously with a different car, I can't remember which, but the problem went away when I won another race and the mods equipped to my car changed. Currently experiencing it with the Mercedes Bens SLS-AMG. Can't seem to get it to work. It is really annoying because it is not just a small bug, the entire game crashes. Please someone do something about this.

So, I managed to get past the crashing on this race in the Mercedes I mentioned above. It seems like the trick in both cases was to complete all the events above it and try different vehicle mods. I think it has to do with either the body or the chassis mod equipped.
It's not the ideal solution. The game needs to be fixed. But it is a way for those of you who are stuck to carry on playing.
June 2015
I have the same problem! But I only tested with Ford GT.
Everyone still have this problem?

.
Or no one play the game anymore?

Same issue here, only with the Maserati GT MC Stradale. It seems to happen when the AI crashes, usually into my car. Quite a maddening issue as even when trying to use proper racecraft to beat them (ie. not piling into them but rather driving properly) they'll hit me and cause a CTD. And even weirder as I had done this race with other cars like the V12 Vantage with no issues.
I tried to validate the installation, tried to remove mods (during the race) and it didn't fix the issue.
Running the game on Windows 10 Pro x64, with a Core i7-4710MQ, 16 GB DDR3, GTX 880M (driver release 362.00).
I'm not expecting any answer nor any fix, the game is too old by modern standards and the devs probably moved on. But hey, maybe I'll be surprised!
EDIT: retried the race with the V12 Vantage and it crashed, so I guess it's *, yay \o/
