i7 3770k oc'd to 4.6, 2x GTX 660 SC's, 8 gigs of RAM and I can run Fallout 4, etc perfectly on high settings.
But I get quite a bit of stutter in NFS. All my other NFS titles run flawlessly.
I'll play around with my settings this weekend. It's going to be wet and rainy.

Hello, so I've upgraded my rig and now it has 24 GB ram memory
I played nfs last night for 2 and a half hours and did not get any error or problem
When I had 8gb ram memory, with the game minimised, if I started task manager it said that over 80% of memory is used (WITH THE GAME RUNNING), so maybe that was the problem
now with 24 gb of memory, it's using 24% of memory in task manager!
I think that was the problem for me, and this is the solution!
hope this post will help.
Cheers!

The problem is finally solved with me! I have today written to the EA Support and the following are told.
Launches Need for Speed in compatibility mode.
1. Right click on NFS shortcut on your desktop.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on the Compatibility tab
4. Select Windows 7 from.
If you already use Windows 7, you need not to do.
Uses CCleaner.
Here you have an accurate guide as you have to proceed.http://help.ea.com/in/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
Turn off Shaodwplay. (If you use a Nvidia graphics card)
1. Open Nvidia Experience
2. Click (top right) on Shadowplay
3. Click on the button, so it no longer lights up.
Finally, you must still reboot your PC
I hope I could help you!

Same problem..
I have 32Gb of ram and high end graphics, but same problem.
GTA 5 which has a much bigger world runs smoothly on my computer. I don't think it's the ram, it's just poor development. It reminds me of another bug from NFS:Undercover that cars used to randomly fall on street from sky. It's a bug that might get fixed in an update or might not.
Plus the game is disappointing. It's not NFS like it used to be. The graphics are amazing and that's it, there is nothing more to this game. I have played all NFS titles since the first one in 1995 and now this.. I'm not gonna even look further for a solution anymore. I will return it and get a refund. Whoever made this should think more about gameplay and fun, and less about the money!
EA is like McDonald's to me now... Big name and a terrible product...
Peace
