Be a Pro repeatedly crashing? Attempting to edit player

When trying to change my character's equipment, I select the edit player option, and am then taken to a loading screen promptly followed by a freeze, and a crash. Cannot get past this, I've restarted the console as well as the game itself. Any clues on how not to have the game freeze upon trying to edit my player?

Does issue still occur if you exit BAP completely and re-load your save file?

Did you ever find a fix? I’ve had this problem for a few months now and nothing I’ve tried has fixed it.

Does this only happen when you try to edit their equipment or are you crashing at other times as well?
