Problem when I want to play a friend [ Edited ]

Hello,

I played HUT online seasons. After the game my opponent texted me and we talked for a while. Then he sent me a friend request so that we can play a friendly against each other, because the game was very tight. Unfortunately we were not able to play each other because when the other one accepted the invitation for the "play a friend" game in HUT, we always got the error that we should try again later. Afterwards we tried an online vs an everything was fine, but HUT was still not possible.

We play on PS4, he is from Sweden and I am from Austria. What can be the problem for that? I mean we played each other in the HUT online season and in online vs but somehow "play a friend" in HUT was impossible.

This kind of issue is a little more difficult to troubleshoot as both you and your friend need to take the same steps. So, can you both try these steps:
