Pause menu lag

When you go to the pause menu mid-race, and go back to the race, you loose all control to your car for about a second. This isn’t just a one time thing, I’ve had the game for 7+ months and it had happened every time. This can ruin a race sense you can’t control your car for a second. Please fix this if you can.
