Woo, I was pretty happy to see NFS HP was a giveaway for Prime since I played through the original and really liked it. But the remastered version is not picking up my controller.
I have tried tons of troubleshooting steps such as
Using a cable for my Xbox One controller
Setting Origin to launch through Steam Big Picture (some people suggested this will help the game recognize the controller)
Configuring keybinds in the menu, (shows up as Unknown Device and does not recognize any input plugged in or not).
My controller works fine for most games I have played without any issues, and it is frustrating that a recently released game has so many issues with an Xbox One controller.
At least I didn't pay for this experience.
