Cannot close the game as it becomes a background process

Every time that the game closes or I have to close the game via the task manager because its frozen/locked up the application becomes a background process. NOTHING I do will close the application other then doing a full restart or shutdown of my PC. It makes it impossible to close Origin or EA Desktop because "The application is still running". Even if I "End Task" with Task Manager the application refuses to close or reopen. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Hey there Darko! Here is the dxDiag file. Unfortunately since my original post I have been unable to start the game at all now. It says "It's an issue on our end" and to try again later.

Hello again! So I just ran the SFC scan and a DISM scan and neither one found any issues or integrity violations. Is there another step I can take?
