I’m having this problem too, just put nfs on & straight away I’m getting error 40080000. 

i haven’t played on another PS4, have only 1 account & 1 PS Plus subscription.
I only had $120k & it’s dropped to $999. It’s annoying to lose that much, never mind losing more but the rest of my save seems unaffected so far.

Hey Cromie89? Did you play the EA Access Trial? I have a strong suspicion that that could be the cause.. and did you buy the deluxe edition?

Hey all, not really a solution but while I'm waiting for the technician to get back to me, I created a fresh EA Account and linked it to a fresh PSN account... I have like very few trophies on it haha and although it's not a complete workaround I'm atleast able to play online and do crew events.. just thought I'd mention it if you guys would like to do that instead or atleast in the mean time.. grinding from scratch is a downer but it works... I'll update yall again once the tech gets in touch with me once more.

Been dealing with this since release day.  I can’t play online because of it.  Talked to EA Help and they managed to talk me into deleting all of my saved data so after reaching level 50, beating the game, and having money and cars I’ve built up over the past 3 days..... all gone.  This is absolutely unacceptable.   Oh and I’m still getting the error code and can’t play online.  Thanks EA.

Same issue here!!!!!! But I have not resorted to deleting my save file yet. Is there no remedy for this?!?!?! I've also contacted EA support, no help there.
