Acceleration not working properly in nfs heat! [ Edited ]

I have had the same Problem with my Xbox elite controller, until I noticed, that the buttons were mechanicaly restricted to 50 % on the backside :D But i wonder if this is possible with a Ps4 controller? It would be nice too to be able to tune that in game as well.

I tried both the mustang and the BMW they give u at the start of the game and neither of them can accelerate at all. I worked up in the mustang and switching the gearbox seemed to work. Then I got on after an update and it was back to being garbage. Even the polestar you use at the beginning of the game is really slow. I saw people hitting 200 mph easy on YouTube while I was struggling to hit 130 mph. It's a really crappy situation and I'm not playing till it gets fixed.

I have this same exact problem. Thank god for you guys cause I couldn’t even find a solution on YouTube or anywhere. Honestly thought this was how i was suppose to drive around until i played online with my friends. I switched my r2 to r1. I can drive now. But I’d still rather have my normal buttons back so I don’t have to keep switching for other games. Ive noticed everyone on here made this complaint 3 weeks ago and still no fix.... there NEEDS to be an update.

Just found out that it isn’t need for speed that just has this problem, I tried to play GTA with the same controller and the same thing happened with the R2 button when trying to accelerate and shot a gun. I have 2 pads which are 1st gen which I got with my console when it was 1st released around 5 years ago and both pads do the same we’re the R2 button doesn’t fully work, so yesterday I went out and bought a brand new PS4 controller and now the R2 button works on both games 😒. Looks like this is a software problem with PlayStation itself with the old generation controllers... hope this helps

I’m still having acceleration issues with any car I use. Especially the pre-ordered cars, the Lancers can’t even get past the 2nd gear. It’s so frustrating trying to outrun cops or even win races. The game seems really unplayable but yet, the game visually is gorgeous, I haven’t been this excited for a racing game since Need For Speed: Underground. But if I can’t even play this game I felt like I’ve just wasted money. I’ve already tried all the things everyone says on here, changed controllers, deleted the game and re-installed it, I also wanted to change the controller layout but under “accessibility” there is no area to change the layout. Unless I’m looking in a different area. I hope there is a fix with the acceleration because I want to love this game like how everyone else does whenever I watch YouTube but I can’t if this problem continues.

The controller is all about that i was using one of my dualshock and i had this problem when i switch my controler it work perfectly
