My sim keeps disappearing and I can't open any tabs or menus [ Edited ]

My game is updated and I don't have many mods. I swear they're all up to date, but my game is not functional. My sim disappeared from the lot and I can't go one option deep into any pie menu. When I click on manage worlds, the screen goes black. I can't save or open the bottom tabs at all. What's crazy is I haven't gotten any lastexception files? I don't know what to do except erase my mods folder which I literally just did like a month ago pls help!

@margaretlovee Have you tested without those mods?  Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

After that, start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC . You should also check creators' installation instructions. You might be missing files that mods need.
