i recently got a new pc and i downloaded sims 4 and i didnt have a mods file, i was told to make one and it still didnt work. i have enabled mods in game and my cc still wont work, how do i fix it?

The Mods folder is created the first time you start the game. Despite what someone told you you can not just create your own mods folder. The game only uses the folder it creates.

@73654876 For more on how to do that now:
1. Drag your current Mods folder to your desktop. You'll have the files there you can add to the new one then
2. Delete the file called localthumbcache
3. Start the game and exit
Now you can copy files out of the old folder into the game-created one. DON'T copy over your old Resource.cfg file. Use the game's new one.

When i first downloaded i didnt have a mods folder. i deleted and installed again and i still didnt, i enabled script mods and repaired it and i still dont have it. and i dont have the localthumbcache file, what do i do?
