I've tried everything but my sims 4 mods won't work

Since the latest update my mods folder won't work. I uninstalled the game. Deleted all my mods. Deleted the mod folder and then opened the game. I've checked all the files. And yet every time I open the game my mods are then disabled again. What do I do?

@AmberRayneee A less common cause is OneDrive. If you use OneDrive, get it away from Sims. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-saves-user-content-disappearing-P...

In case you still have issues after this, please let me know if you're on a PC or a Mac so I can get you to the right technical support area. This is a folder issue, not something your mods are doing.

Have you backed up your Saves? Checked for broken and updated mods/CC?
