Grim & Houndstooth Dye ... Where Can I Get Them?

Hello Everyone,

So, I'm trying to make a candle collection in all colors, hence I need the Grim & Houndstooth dye.

I used to be able to get the Grim Dye by recycling Death Flowers, but that doesn't seem to work any longer, whereas for the Houndstooth, I've never been able to find it.

If you look online there are suggestions for dumpster-diving, but I think that the options have since changed for the dumpster, and now you can only dive for meals or deals.

... Please, does anyone know how I can find these two types of dye?

You can get both by dumpster diving.  Use the Dive for Deals option.  It might take time and a bunch of diving as what you get each time is random.  Sometimes you get the dyes right off the bat and sometimes it just takes forever it seems since you can only do so many dives at a time.

What I do is place a dumpster on the lot and then throw all the trash in it.  Each time you put in trash; you can dive 3-4 times.  If you really want to speed it up, add a chicken coop to the lot.  That way you get a steady stream from cleaning the coop every day and if you have a horse on the lot, you can put the manure in the dumpster several times a day.  So, then you get a lot of attempts to dumpster dive.
