I'm not totally sure how to post here, sorry.
PC, Windows 10. Sims 4 is updated to version 1.108.349.1020. I do have mods and custom content. The game worked fine for a few days and launched as expected, but the last two days a pop up tells me an update is required and to visit the game hub. If it wasn't evident, there is no button to update anything.
I tried restarting the EA app, clearing it's cache, updating it, repairing it, uninstalling and reinstalling. I attempted repairing Sims 4 itself. As a last ditch effort, I removed the Sims 4 folder from the documents folder. The game started without issues, but once I added mods back in the same error popped back up. It will sometimes start in offline mode, but today it wouldn't at all.
I'm just wondering if there's an obvious solution before I start picking through mods.

Hi!
I've had this problem too the last couple of days, if the game is able to start I can play my last played household but I can't make a new household. It's very weird.

@minnster03 @bpdeanie Do you get any other error files created when this happens? Please also post a screenshot of the error. Either of these could help narrow down a mod causes.
Otherwise, there's Broken/Updated Mods & CC lists and the 50-50 process.

@PhantomNagini Do you get this message if you test vanilla or in a clean user folder? (See https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling/)
