Distorted Sims/ Missing parts

Ever since I downloaded the High school Year s Expansion pack my sims are getting distorted after traveling. I don’t know if it’s related to the pack but the bug mostly occurs after I get a teen to go to high school. 

once it starts affection one sim it starts affecting every other world as well. Sometimes parts of their faces are dragged to the floor with strings and they look so weird. Missing legs and arms or their upper half are the most common. That and their lips getting dragged down.

now this isn’t the first time it happened. It keeps happing and I’ve even contacted ea in the past. Rebooted my laptop, cleared my cache, deleted and redownloaded the game. I’ve tried everything and every week or two that I get a new teen sim to high school it happens again.

for obvious reason I can’t just not play with the expansion pack cause I paid for it. I hope we can figure it out and get some help cause it’s frustrating at times

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

@jpkarlsen hello and thank you for the answer. This hasnt worked it doesnt seem to be a problem with my mods. i have also rebooted my laptop and still nothing. Thanks again
