What happens when the bug occurs? My GUI when changing counter types is all weird and I can't select a new type of counter even with auto counter turned on my counters wont place corner counters.
What do you expect to see? There isn't really a problem with gameplay other than visually but as a builder its quite annoying...
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I’m having the same problem and I checked my local thumb ache.package and it is still installed. I’m a builder so it’s difficult to try and place counters and cabinets all you can place is the main ones. Also the icons for each one is jumbled up so you can’t tell which one is which but if you click on them you can see each one but you can’t place the different ones. I also deleted better build buy but it still is showing in my game. I have checked every where I could think of but my computer says it is not in my files.

Hi @Gypsymoon Could you test this please without mods at all? Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it - and putting that content back in gradually to make sure you don't have duplicates hiding in there.
