Build mode issues, not working

Hello. I am having issues when it comes to build mode on my sims4. I would click on build mode, and it would act like it is loading but nothing will happen, nothing would appear. Then I'll be stuck on the build mode page and can't do anything. it won't even let me click live mode. I have to literally exit the game to get back into live mode. I have attached an image of what it looks like when I click on build mode. after that I can't do anything. I do have the wickedsims mod installed

@RedBlood85764 Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
