Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a high schooler join any after-school activity or part-time job.
What happens when the bug occurs? The teenager drops out of high-school.
What do you expect to see? Surely someone who joins the cheerleading team would not drop out of highschool? It's meant to be an after-school activity, after all. Why can't they go to highschool and be a cheerleader at the same time?
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Downloaded 26 July patch and installed High School Years.

I am having this same problem I tried looking through my mods but none should be effecting were you able to solver the issue?

I completely forgot! I removed it and then pressed repair for good measure. Sadly when I put my mods back, the problem came back as well. Time to figure out which one of the mods is the culprit. :')

Removing mods and localthumbcache, then pressing repair, did the trick for me. Putting mods back also returned the issue. I'm currently looking for what mod may have caused the problem. Starting with MCCC. I'll let you know when I find anything.

It turns out MC Command Center was the problem. I hope they'll fix it soon because I rely on that stuff so much, haha. :'D

If the MC Command Center setting is enabled "MCCC > MC Career > Teens Quit School"  after-school activities will no longer be compatible with being a high schooler. Check if this is what's in your way! Hope this helps!

In my game teen and child Sims cant join afterschool activity or part-time job. When I try to join one it will show me if I want to qiut school. I deleted mods, repaired and updated game and still cant join.
