[PC] fps drop to 12 after starting the ME 1

fps in launcher are fine but as soon as ME 1 launches it will first stay at 144fps (144hz monitor) and then increase to 240 before dropping all the way down to 12fps.

Launching through origin

GTX2060

Ryzen 7 3700X

16GB RAM

tried disabling origin in game but didnt change a thing and it seems it was still enabled anyway

I also thought its the overlay. Disabling it in origin will disable it for the ME Launcher but not for the games itself. After disabling it from origin by renaming 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\igo64.dll the overlay is gone but the frames drop from 260 to 11, 12 or 13 and stay like that

For low framerate or lag with ME1LE, I found a possible solution that worked for me. I had to go into Graphic Settings on my PC, select the ME1 exe application, go to options for the app, then set it to High Performance.
