Need a location for retrieving mail in game.

I am stuck right now using legendary edition mass affect 1 right now.  Is there an actual terminal for retrieving in game mail sent to me by NPC's and where is it and how do you get to it?

There is no email terminal in ME1.

That game feature was introduced in ME2.
