Mass effect Legendary will not load

so i purchased Mass effect Legendary from Steam. I tried to open it i get a small white box then a origin notifications pop up saying. "The game Mass Effect Legendary Edition does not appear to be installed. Please install it or try again

Did you played the original recently or back as it was released?

Back then you would not have to link your account, the game was running natively on Steam.

Here is a EA Help article about linking your account, at the bottom is a link to Steam support.

Here you contact EA support directly. If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.

I'm pretty sure i may have linked them at one point when i was playing the original Mass effect.
