Mass Effect Legendary Edition Toggle Helmet Option does not work

I realize that this might be a small thing, but the Toggle Helmet function is kind of broken. Clicking on the option in the character menu only toggles the helmet for Shepard, regardless of which character that I have selected. Is anybody else having this issue?

If you go to the squad menu via the esc key it works. If you use the U key, it only works for Shepard.

@zyphyreon same issue, which is weird, because it definitely worked yesterday for my squad mates.

@zyphyreon I had this problem with the game on PC using keyboard and mouse. I had to connect my Xbox controller to toggle them off.

Not an ideal solution but it works.

I think it's a huge issue, and I'm having the same problem, playing on the Xbox One. I have not found a workaround and it is beyond irritating! It's game-breaking for me!

Has anyone found a solution for the Xbox? Does anyone know if the team is working on this??

Just recently downloaded MELE on my PC and have the same issue, only it is not working for Shepard either.

None of the workarounds work either.

Can´t remember having this issue on XBox...

Try to repair the game.

(Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
