Mass Effect 1 (legendary) - separate settings for voices & text language?

Does Mass Effect 1 (legendary edition) will have separate settings for voices & text language? I am asking because RUS voices in ME1 was awful

Someone with an early copy said voice and text language are tied together. You can't mix and match, unfortunately.

According to this EA Help page not all games have Voiceover for all languages available.

So not being able to select the Voiceover and Text language separately makes not much sense.

I would take this "thigh together" info with a grain of salt. 😉

I saw a Twitch stream where someone was playing with Spanish texts and English VO. I hope this will work in Russian as well.

Edit: Unfortunately it doesn't work in Russian.

According to the EA Help page I linked and the Steam Product page as well, the Legendary edition only has Russian voice-over for the first game.

So the only question is if EA is forcing Russian text on the English voice-over, something they unfortunately did in the past for Russian and Polish versions.

Would be nice if you could let us know.
