[Old Report] Mass Effect 1 Adept Cannot equip new grenades. [ Edited ]

So, I'm playing an Adept in Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition. I ran into an issue where I cannot equip any new grenade mods. I can't even see them. This was first problematic on Feros where I couldn't equip the gas grenades. I'm not sure where to go to report bugs, but this looks like as good a place as any.

hi I'm aware I'm late to the party but i saw this thread looking for a solution and ended up solving it myself so figured id post the solution i found. so prior to me getting this issue id used the save editor and had changed the grenade that was in the grenade slot to the HE grenade not realizing the grenade slot that shows up in the save editor has to be kept as just GRENADE this is because that applies to the grenade launcher and this is what meaning when you replace this your essentially just removing the grenade launcher from the game meaning you cant use grenades at all and cannot add the mods to the grenade slot.

the fix for this is to open your save in the editor and change the slot third inventory slot from the top (The one below your armor) then replace whatever is there with [GRENADE] from the drop down menu then add the grenade mod to your inventory on the other side and equip it once you load this new edited save in game.

literally could have played the rest of the game without knowing how to fix it but i needed to equip those dammn anti thorian grenades even if I'm late hop this helps someone the picture I've attached is how the save editor should look if you've got the grenade in the correct place.

NEVERMIND, I'M AN IDIOT. I didn't know that they were modifiers, not actual equipment like with rifles.

That being said, that was unintuitive. Maybe they should be actual equipment?

When I go to the grenades tab to equip a mod for them nothing pops up.

What Grenade upgrades have you already found?

All of them. Also, I have a save editor, and even that can't force a grenade mod onto my grenades. The paragon option for Feros is a no-go if I can't figure out what the glitch is for the grenades tab on the items menu.

If you are on a PC try to repair the game.

(Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

Don't have Origin.

EA app: Right clicking the three dots don't bring anything up.

Steam app: Verified game files and the grenades still don't show up at all.

There isn't a repair feature when I do that. Might be due to buying it through Steam.

Then they changed that, but it was about time.

Can you provide a screenshot from your Grenade equipment menu?
