I might be a minority here on this however personally I simply wish that Mass effect would possibly explore human characters groups that have managed longevity extension/lifespan extension without slowing down and even eliminating the gradual aging process. By borrowing aspects from Bruce Sterling's novek Schismatrix Through simply prosthetically extending their lifespans/longevity by having that as parts of their body gradually fail due to the gradual aging process they would simply replace that particular failed super extremely gradually aged biological body part with prosthetic versions. https://youtu.be/s-iC142Ket0 https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/161296.Schismatrix_Plus https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qIfxHjAus2o https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HZDlxISecug https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-03618-w

These are well-trodden but interesting sci-fi themes.
I guess Mass Effect have the Geth, so cybernetic humans might be too similar? Or maybe not.

You do know that they used cybernetics, implants, and cell regin to bring Shepard back to life don't you?? It didn't look like he/she was slowed down much after, you know, being dead. There are also talks of genetic enhancements available in the first game, which likely would increase life and capability. To my mind it is already covered, just not high detail since the story arc is years instead of decades and we really don't know how old the humans are in the game, thus no way of knowing if this is already common, with people living 150 or so years instead of the current 75 average.

I was talking about cybernetic life extension extending and adding/extra the amount of time of gradual aging of outward appearances that could occur over time in addition to what has already gradually occurred over the previous 120 years of life ie 100 years of adulthood.
