i recently bought the game on steam during their recent end of spring sale they were having but whenever i boot up the game it gives me an error stating i cant access online due to some missing features or something................ ive tried contacting the ea help twitter account for assistance as ive seen thats where most people get directed to but then they just go and give me a runaround telling me to come here to post about it and quite frankly its getting monotonous...........
granted i know the ea help twitter provides automated messages and whatnot but you would think it wouldnt be so difficult to request the game be stripped from the account then regranted to the same account in an attempt to fix it and yet..............

But it also means that only support can help you here.
All I can suggest is that you continue to contact support until you get a rep that is familiar with this specific problem.

the game is telling me
"You are not allowed to access the online features for this game, see http://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play/ for additional information" which i have done but nothing there has worked the help twitter page has been completely useless to me as well

as a bit of an update to my situation that makes this all the more stupid is while the game doesnt let me access online on PC, if i try and access online via another platform I.E a PS4 the game will let me connect perfectly fine without any issues whatsoever which is again, rather stupid imo

i had one in the past yes that had expired but i had reinstated it in hopes that would fix the situation but that unfortunately doesnt seem to be the case and the online functionality on PC remains nonexistent
