Why do people take the Paragon or Renagade postures to such extremes?

I often see people saying, "That choice is Renegade. A Shepard Paragon would never do that blah blah blah."

I've played Full Paragon and Full Renegade, but they were isolated cases just to test the options and see what happened. But overall my main Shepard is a model between 70% or maybe 60% Paragon and 30/40 Renegade and I've never had any issues with blocked responses or difficulty dealing with any options.

It seems so easy to get enough points to solve things especially in ME2 and 3, which I find extremely limiting to play a Full Paragon or Full Renegade character.

As an example, in one of my Full Renegade plays, I just picked Renegade responses and actions almost everywhere. The only times I was more Paragon was when dealing and talking to squadmates and crew and yet more than half of Paragon's bar was filled in ME2 https://xender.vip/ https://nox.tips/.

Anyway, I think it's so much nicer to play like this. I'm Renegade with whoever deserves it and when the situation demands it, but I'm also nice to friends and innocent people.

It's so much more satisfying than being a complete * or a goofy Boy Scout.

Not to mention that I don't get caught up in this "My Shepard Full Paragon wouldn't do that" nonsense. I have a Shepard Paragon in the right measure, who knows that sometimes to make an omelet you have to break some eggs.
