Two copies of Mass Effect 3 in Origin library.

Hi. 

I just got Mass Effect 3. Im somewhat confused though since I have two copies of Mass Effect in my library. They seem identical in every way, except differing cd-key, and a roughly 20mb size difference. I googled the subject, but found no good answer. They did however say that the filter should just hide one of the copies. I believe the "lesser" copy. But the filter does not automatically do that, and the games wont tell me whats different between the two so I dont know which to manually hide. 
Anyone know why this happens and which one to download?

The two editions of the game you have are very slightly different but unless you have an issue with whichever one you play, there is no reason not to just right click and hide the one you do not play.

If you really want to, you can contact an Advisor to fully remove one from your account but as above, there is no reason to do this unless you have a specific reason or issue.

This is not exactly the best answer, Barry. This is the lazy approach to customer service. Instead of sending the customer to ANOTHER person, why not prep an informative answer and give it yourself? Like what's the difference of 200mb between the two versions? Is it some music? Is it some artwork, or any other hidden DLC? Since they are different, how are we to know which one is right to remove, hide or play? And for which one should we buy the DLC?
Do your homework next time, please. It is enough having to deal with EA's shenanigans and practices, we don't have the patience for lazy customer service.

Hello there!

I got to this same issue today, so for those who still wonder, if you click on Download on both, you will see one of them contains some extra content: Extended version & Mass Effect Trilogy design (I'm translating this from Spanish so might be a bit different).

So I hid the one without the additional content by "right click > hide".
