There was no mentioning of Multiplayer in the Legendary Edition presentation, and rumors say that there will be no multiplayer in the Legendary Edition.
If that turns out to be true it is imho unlikely that they will shut down the MP of the Original game.
But all this is just speculation itm.
We will have to wait for more information from Bioware.
