Online enemies

Noticed lately that the enemies behaviour has changed when an doing solo games the enemies seem to swarm you on mass also when you wipe out a group of them they respawn almost on top of you i have been playing this game for years so i know all the maps and spawn points and there's definitely a change in behaviour I am wondering if this is down to the servers not being maintained probably.

Talking about multiplayer when I play solo does not happen in every game but it is happening more often then not.
