I have tried to reinstall both origin and the game and it still won't work. when I use the reliability monitor it tells me the the path to the application is bad. But i double checked the path and it is correct. I am wondering if anyone can help me out.

Ok, try this:
- Close Origin. (right click at the Task Bar icon > Exit)
- Go here and download the two DLLs.
- Navigate to ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\Core" and rename the "awc.dll" and the "EACore.dll" to "old_awc.dll" and "Old_EACore.dll"
- Move the new "awc.dll" and "EACore.dll" files from the place you saved them into the directory listed above.
- Test the Game.

@fishstick41 Hey,is your Origin installed to the C drive?
I'd start by uninstalling and reinstalling Origin, but try installing it to the default path if it isn't already there.
Thanks.

Could it be the masseffect3.exe file that is downloaded is bad?

Do you have "Origin in Game" enabled? If so disable it (Origin menu > Origin > Application Settings > Origin in Game) > Test
If that didn't help go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\Core" folder and rename the "EACore.dll" to "OldEACore.dll" (without the quotes)
Then repair your game in Origin > Test

Did you executed Origin as Admin?
Also, please create a DxDiag and a new Reliability monitor error message. (from the latest crash) (Press the windows key and "R" at the same time and copy or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in > ENTER)
Double click at the newest ME3 error, copy it to the clipboard, (Bottom left corner) save it to a text file and load it up like the DxDiag in the Reply window.
Edit:And restart your Machine to be sure the changes in the post before are applied.

Ok, checking them now.
I edited my last post, in case you didn't see it, please restart your machine.
And tell me the size of the "EACore.dll".
