Hello. I recently downloaded the Mass Effect 3 demo on my pc. I have the game on my xbox, and it works perfectly, but when I launch the demo, I get a message saying the servers are unavailable. Before purchasing the game for my computer, I would like to test it! Thank you

I believe the demo servers for PC have been taken down. You can still test it by buying the game, and if it doesn't work, you can get a refund within 24 hours after launching it.

It is possible to run the single-person demo. Make sure the Origin application is running and you have logged in. Open Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings. Right Click on your network connection and "Disable" (This will cut off your Internet access). Now you can start the Mass Effect 3 Demo application and run the single-person demo.
Don't forget to "Enable" your network connection after you are done playing.

That worked for me, thanks for posting!

I am facing the same issue (2nd Feb 2016), I read that EA must have shut down the internet service for the demo. I think we can 'Go Offline' and play the demo. I'm gonna try just that.
Few minutes later : That doesn't work. Disabling the nic does the job though.

You can get round the lack of EA servers by disconnecting your internet.
With an internet connection, the demo fails, because if can't find the servers. Without an internet connection, it seems to work.
I literally unplugged my internet connection.
