Mass Effect 3 won't install from disc [ Edited ]

Hello.

When i try to install the game with the disc 1, Origin open, a notification appears and i click on 'install', but after that, nothing happens. Origin don't start the installation

Is the coded already redeemed and the game inside your game library?

If so disable your internet connection and then click on download, the game should find the disk and start installing it.

It won't even begin the install in offline mode. While online it says it was "redeemed".  This after entering the serial number.

@mhscrutton If it says the code is already redeemed, that means the license has already been used either by yourself or someone else. If you are the owner then most likely you have another EA account on which the game was redeemed, and should sign in with that same account in order to download the game. If you've obtained the game 2nd-hand, then unfortunately you're out of luck, as the original owner would have redeemed the product code.

The game was not downloaded, it comes from the original EA cd set. So Origin saying the serial number was already redeemed makes no sense and is an error in their user interface.

It is unlikely that this is an error on EAs side.

Did you bought this "cd set" (Is that a Trilogy set?) new or used?

Is this the first time you tried to redeem the key or did you do it before?
