Mass Effect 3 loads forever after installing DLC

I recently got EA Access on my Xbox One and downloaded Mass Effect 3. It ran fine until I bought some DLC and installed it, now it’s “checking dlc” forever. I had a similar problem when I owned the game on ps3 but I solved it by disconnecting to the internet. Unfortunately, if I disconnect from the internet on my Xbox, I can’t access my game. So I’m looking for a work around.

tl;dr: I can’t launch ME3 after installing dlc on my Xbox One with EA Access, what’s a way to fix that?

More as a diagnostic, have you tried uninstalling the DLC's to see if it then works fine? If so, then load each DLC individually and see which causes the problem to reappear.  It sounds like it might be the infamous Retaliation DLC bug (that's multiplayer content), but maybe try to narrow it down.

Might have to clear the game cache as well.

Looks like it can't verify DLC ownership because of a connection issue.

You could try a different network, for instance by using your phone as a wifi access point and use your mobile network to make the connection.
