ME3 error message on start up "Direct3D..."

★★★ Novice

I haven't played in a few months but now when I try to start ME3 from Origin I get the message "Direct3D is not available because the computer is locked. Keep retrying?"  How can this be fixed?  I haven't 'locked' anything on my computer and the game was working just fine last time I played.  I ran the DxDiag and it says "enabled" under the display tab for the Direct3D.

@FireKali

Run the Windows System File Checker Sfc /scannnow and post the concluding message.

If that don't helps preform a clean boot and test the Game afterwards.

Thanks!  I did the reboot and that magically fixed things.  Some weird computer glitch, I suppose.  Standard smile
