How do I install from disc without download?

The accepted solution doesnt work for me. Also the accepted solution has nothing to do with installing from the disc. It tries to download everytime. Ive had better success from my solution on page 5. Could be a windows thing too. I'm running 8.1

Go offline in Origin, close origin, disconnect from internet, then try installing. You will be asked for username and password. Origin must be installed and updated beforehand obviously, and previous download files removed. Worked for me at least.

- close Origin completely.

- Disable your internet connection. (Pull the plug or disable the Network adapters)

- Start Origin > login > Game Library > click "Download".  (Origin should start installing from the disk.)

tried all that. no DL option. tried several autoruns. only option i had was reconnect to install

Do you have a Antivirus program that blocks access to your optical drive?

Did you tried to install directly from the setup.exe on the disk?
